If your document was issued or notarized in New Jersey, the steps can differ from those in neighboring states. We help identify the right process for documents headed to the Dominican Republic, and coordinate notary and translation steps where they apply.

New York

New York City & surrounding areas

New York documents — birth certificates, marriage records, diplomas, powers of attorney and others — often need an apostille or notarization before they can be used in the Dominican Republic or another country. We review what your document requires based on where it was issued and where it is going.

Common Questions

QUESTIONS FROM CLIENTS IN OUR REGION

Do I need to be in the tri-state area to work with you?+

No. Our service is coordinated remotely, so we assist clients throughout the United States and abroad. The tri-state area is where most of our clients are, but your location does not limit whether we can help.

Do I need to visit your office in person?+

No. Most steps are handled remotely. If a particular step requires an in-person appearance or a notarization, we will tell you clearly what is needed and where.

I am outside the United States. Can you still help me?+

Yes. Many of our clients are abroad. If you need a U.S.-issued document prepared for use in another country, or a foreign document prepared for use in the U.S., we can coordinate the process remotely. We work in both Spanish and English.

How do I know if my document needs an apostille?+

It depends on the document, where it was issued and where it will be used. Tell us those three things and we will review whether an apostille is the applicable step.
